Komal Tahir has spent more than sixteen years in medical aesthetics, with hands-on training across more than twenty procedures — from laser hair removal to advanced skin rejuvenation. She built that expertise the hard way: through years of study, practice, and a personal experience that changed the direction of her life.

In her teenage years, Komal struggled with excessive hair growth and turned to laser treatments for relief. A misguided treatment left her with burns on her face, chest, and legs — and left her with a mission. She left a path in culinary school and moved into medical aesthetics, determined that no one else would have to go through what she did.

In 2019, she founded Komal Med Spa in Bay Harbor Islands, sourcing the equipment and technology she trusted most — the Candela GentleMax Pro, Morpheus8, and VI Peel among them — and building a practice around safety, precision, and results for every skin tone.
