Plasma Fibroblast is a non-surgical, non-invasive skin tightening procedure that uses high energy to tighten and lift the skin, face, and various parts of the body with instant results.

Micro-injuries contract the tissue, boost tissue regeneration, stimulate fibroblasts, and the skin continues to produce collagen ( fibroblast cells) for several weeks after tightening.

Fibroblast cells play an important role in helping skin wounds heal as well as maintaining skin firmness and tightness.

1. How does laser hair removal work?Laser hair removal works by producing a beam of high-intensity light that penetrates deep into your skin tissue. This laser light delivers a controlled amount of focused heat, which is attracted to the pigment contained inside the hair follicle, thus destroying it while leaving the surrounding skin unaffected.
-
2. What areas of the face and body can be treated with laser hair removal?Nearly any area of the face and body can be treated with laser hair removal. This includes, but is not limited to, legs, buttocks, bikini, arms, underarms, chest, back, neck, chin, and ears.
-
3. Does laser hair removal work for everyone? At Philosophy of Beauty Universal, we can treat all skin types only because we offer specific lasers for our light and dark skin patients. Patients with lighter skin and darker hair typically require fewer sessions. People with darker skin may require more sessions for effective results to be achieved. Lasers do not see blond, red, gray, or white hair, so they cannot be removed with any laser. The reason for this is there is no melanin in the hair follicle and hence, no target for the laser.

4. Can my hair grow back after having Laser Hair Removal? It is possible to see some regrowth occur after laser hair removal treatments. Laser energy will destroy the hair bulb primarily when the hair is in the growth phase. Hairs are in all different phases at any given time. This means there can be a small amount of hair that may not be destroyed at the time of your treatments. They can continue to grow more fine and vellus. This can easily be addressed with touch up treatments.

5. Does laser hair removal hurt? No, POB uses the gold standard in laser hair removal technology, Candela Gentle Max Pro Plus. This laser has a built in cooling system which sprays cryogen to cool the top layer of skin while the energy from the laser is being delivered. Most of our patients are extremely surprised by how comfortable the treatment is.
-
6. Does laser hair removal work on gray hair? No, the target for lasers used for laser hair removal is pigment. Gray hair does not have any pigment to absorb the laser energy which in turn does not make it effective.
-
7. How many laser hair removal sessions do I need?Depending on the area and hair being treated it can take anywhere from 6-10 treatments. Areas with coarse, dark hair tend to respond quicker to the laser energy and may need less treatments.
-
8.Can you scar from Laser Hair Removal? It is very rare to ever scar from laser hair removal. Scars however could form only if someone used the wrong settings or not take care of the treated area correctly after treatment. So it is important to take the same precautions post laser treatment as you would if you had a sunburn. In 13 years of doing Laser Hair Removal, we have never scarred one person.

9. What’s the best laser for laser hair removal?POB uses Candela Gentle Max Pro Plus is the gold standard in laser hair removal. This technology is also the most popular due to the built in cooling system that makes the treatments extremely comfortable for patients.

10. How come some of my hair grew back after having laser hair removal? It is possible to see some regrowth after laser hair removal treatments. Laser energy will destroy the hair bulb when the hair is in the growth phase. Hairs are in different phases at any given time. This means that if there was hair that was not in the growth phase during treatments they would continue to grow, usually being finer and very sparse. These hairs can be treated with touch up treatments. Another reason you could see regrowth could be a change in hormones, pregnancy or medication.
